Decent food and service in a glorified cafeteria (with full table service) -- slightly blah atmosphere but perfectly decent Chinese with a big big range of dishes. I alway have the pork XLB which are just a little too thick but perfectly decent - I usually get thr pork with dry bean curd (Rudy) and Chinese cellars which is a big order of quite go
Place is clean and has several tables. Looks like they do a lot of take out as there were frequent delivery guys stopping by for pick ups. We enjoyed our dumplings and crab rangoon appetizer. Service was fast. Perfect location for a quick meal before our show at Berklee Performance Center.
Dumpling Palace was one of the first restaurants I ever visited in Boston and has become one of the first I bring visitors to when in town. I just love how warm and comforting it feels and as the years go by the staff remains the same, I love seeing their friendly faces! My go-to is the scallion pancakes and friend dumplings. Fantastic after a night out or on a cold day. While I have tried their entrees before, I like to stick to the appetizer-type items and am never disappointed with them. Overall, would certainly recommend a visit!
